CHARTERED FINANCIAL PLANNER

I am committed to providing a first class service to my clients while using my experience as a financial planner to help them build and protect their wealth for themselves and their family.

Background

As a chartered financial planner and Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, I have 14 years experience advising individuals, families trusts and businesses. Having developed my career working within private banking and then with a national accountancy firm I am now responsible for the growth and development of Yorkshire Independent Financial Advisers. I pride myself on working closely with clients to help them identify their financial priorities and build a strategic financial plan to help them achieve these goals. Working with other professional partners I am able to complement and build on the services they offer to clients.

INDEPENDENT FINANCIAL ADVISER

I believe that it is important for clients to understand the reasons behind my recommendations and use my 15 years of industry experience to guide clients through their pension and investment needs. I also believe that trust is the most important part of any dealings you will have with an adviser and I pride myself in being able to demonstrate consistently high levels of service to all clients.

Background

I first qualified as a financial adviser in 2002 while working for Norwich Union, now Aviva, in Newcastle. I then moved to Legal & General to provide advice to Northern Rock customers about life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection. Having enjoyed a number of happy years with Legal & General I moved to Halifax in order to provide financial advice to their customers, covering pensions and investments. After a number of years it was apparent that my desire to build lasting relationships with clients and advice them at all stages of their life did not fit with the business model of the bank. As a result I decided to become an Independent Financial Adviser. Since that time I have worked for a number of smaller firms which really value the relationship between adviser and client. I am happy to say that this is a belief echoed by Yorkshire Independent Financial Advisers.
